Juicy stuff:
What makes me get up in the morning? Well, besides the obvious alarm clock answer, i think a few things make the day bearable for me. I enjoy the personal challenges a new day brings, such as exercise-wise, school, and socially. Everyday brings about a new set of variables to deal with. Typically in my past, they have been bad variables... so I try to think that maybe each day will be better than the previous. 95% of the time, this is false. However, the thought that the other 5% may increase to 6% and keep increasing allows me to wake up each day.
Biggest component of who I am: We are all products of our past mixed with our aspirations. It is very hard for me to forget the past and the things that have made me how I am, and I believe that the past controls more of me than it should. A couple of big things have occurred in my life that I feel I can write about here. The first is learning that the people whom I'd thought were my parents really weren't. I found this out early in my life and still haven't met my real parents, nor have I overcome the negative feelings from it. Also, when I was younger, I was a bit of a loner. I had a few friends but I kept to myself more than most other typical kids. Because of this, I have become a stronger-willed and more independent person. The most prominent recent development in my life has been my finding God. Since I found the Lord Jesus Christ as my savior, my life has been enriched and I have felt almost fearless. Its such a wonderful feeling, having guidance in my life, and this is the first time I've ever felt this way. So cool.
More to come soon!
